Yes, another Spain blog! We covered the wine, and now it’s time to cover a huge part of Spanish cuisine, seafood. I am going to keep this short and sweet by simply posting photos of some of my favorite dishes with brief descriptions. Enjoy :)
La Tramoia (Barcelona)– Grilled squid with an oil, lemon and parsley sauce. Don’t let it scare you. It was amazing.
Cook and Taste (Barcelona)– Homemade seafood paella (mussels, clams, prawns and cuttlefish). My friend Marissa and I actually helped make this!
Pinotxo bar (Barcelona)– Baby squid and white bean salad, grilled prawn, and chickpea salad. Oh, and champagne! Best breakfast ever!
La Paradeta (Barcelona)– Steamed mussels in red sauce, fried calamari, and grilled prawns. This place was the Luigi’s of Barcelona (line down the street long before it opened).
La Vinoteca (Madrid)– Cod stuffed peppers. We loved these so much; we went back and had them again.
El Brillante (Madrid)– Bacadillo de calamares (calamari sandwich). This place was suggested to us by our random friend Miguel.
Ahhhh I love Spain!
